Imbolc Ceremony

  • Somaspace Northeast Broadway Portland, OR, 97232 United States (map)

With a new year comes new offerings!

In lieu of our monthly new moon offerings, Portland Moon Mystics (Ariel Hart and Bree Phillips) will now hold space for more in-depth ceremonies, quarterly and cross quarterly. We hold a vision of all beings connected to their spirit, community and the healing energy of mother earth.

Amplify your magic and vibrance within the warm glow of this sacred space! Explore the potent energy of seasonal transition with a ritual designed to honor and revitalize your being. Imbolc is an ancient Celtic tradition honoring rebirth and the return of the sun.

Honoring the occupied territory (now known as Portland) by supporting sustainability and cultural preservation is important to us. 25% of proceeds from our Imbolc ceremony will be returned to NAYA (Native American Youth and Family Center).

Our ceremony is an invitation into deeper awareness and care for our energy, to receive support from the unseen, and to revitalize our inner flame. You will be held by nourishing plant and energy medicine designed to bolster you as a powerful self-healer, earth protector, and magician.

Our healing container will include:

 • An immersive sound bath (a whole-body listening experience) with energy work and gentle hands-on adjustments-- for deep rest, balance and overall well-being.

 • Pranayama (breath work) and gentle movement for activation and clearing of the subtle energy body.

 • Tea Ceremony with Rowan berries for fortifying energetic boundaries and connecting with healed ancestors.

 • Rebirth journeying for collective health and liberation.

 • Candle magic-- create a healing symbol or “sigil” and “dress” a candle in support of your creativity and fire.

 • A home healing package and ritual-- to help integrate our ceremony and assist in bringing clarity in your environment.

Items to bring-

 • Photos, amulets, crystals or other small items of importance to add to our ancestral honoring altar.

 • A journal or something to write on/with.

 • A yoga mat and any items of comfort and support that you like (some props available onsite).

*Sliding scale available to those in need, please reach out if you require support.
