Grief has a voice. So does rage, rebellion, and longing. Move and Keen is an invitation to unearth them all. This is sound and movement for collective liberation.
Rooted in the ancient Irish and Scottish practice of keening—a raw, ritual form of vocal lamentation—we gather in community to reclaim the sacred power of expression. This is not about singing pretty or performing well. This is about letting it out. Through wailing, chanting, and primal sound, we give voice to what’s been silenced.
From there, we shift into the body. With loosely guided somatic movement, we invite stuck energy to move through us. Dance becomes medicine, grief becomes a portal, and your body becomes a vessel for ecstasy.
No experience is needed—only a willingness to feel. If you’ve been crying quietly, seething inwardly, or feeling numb to it all… this space is for you. Together, we will make space for the fire beneath the fog. And from that fire, creativity, joy, passion, and wild freedom can rise.
Come howl, move, and remember your voice!

Please bring a journal/pen and wear comfortable clothing for movement. You may also bring a sheer cloth/scarf to use as a “veil” for keening, but not required.
